I have been appointed the Sacramento Valley Section Public Information Coordinator/Officer. I am here to help make the Sacramento Valley Section’s clubs and Emergency Communications groups visible to the general public. Part of my plan includes contacting various media stations and giving them my information. When you notify me your group is participating in an event, I will give the media groups in your area a press release regarding how amateur radio (your group) is supporting the event.
If your club/group has a public information officer already please forward this to them so I can assist at a section level.
